How does the refrigerant absorb and release heat during its circulation?

1. Evaporator Heat Absorption
Low-pressure liquid refrigerant vaporizes in the evaporator, absorbing heat from the refrigerator interior and lowering the internal temperature.
2. Condenser Heat Release
High-pressure steam enters the condenser, dissipating heat and cooling under constant pressure. It condenses into liquid, releasing heat to the ambient air or water.
3. Heat Transfer During Phase Change
The refrigerant absorbs heat (evaporation) through a phase change from liquid to gas, and releases heat (condensation) through a phase change from gas to liquid, completing the heat transfer and conversion process.

4. Superheating and Subcooling Improve Efficiency
The superheated steam at the compressor outlet and the subcooled liquid at the condenser outlet further enhance the refrigerant's heat exchange efficiency, improving the overall cooling coefficient.
