In refrigeration system design, the capacity matching of the condensing unit is crucial, directly affecting the system's energy efficiency and lifespan. The following are key indicators for determining whether the selection is appropriate:

1. Comparing Cooling Capacity
This is the most direct method for determining capacity. Ensure that the rated cooling capacity of the condensing unit is slightly higher than or equal to the cooling capacity requirements of the air conditioning unit. For example, if the air conditioning unit has a rated cooling capacity of 10HP, then the corresponding condensing unit (as shown in the diagram) should also be 10HP or slightly higher to avoid damage due to overload.

2. Checking Motor Power
The motor power (kW or horsepower) of the condensing unit is a key measure of its cooling capacity. Be sure to check the power parameters on the nameplate and match them with the power requirements of the air conditioning unit. Mismatched power may lead to excessive operating noise or poor cooling performance.

3. Paying Attention to Refrigerant Specifications
Different condensing units are compatible with different refrigerants (such as R22, R410A, etc.). Confirm that the refrigerant type of the condensing unit matches that of the air conditioning unit; otherwise, it may lead to refrigerant circuit leaks or performance degradation.

4. Considering the Operating Environment
If the condensing unit is installed in a high-temperature or dusty environment, a slightly higher power model may be needed to compensate for the heat load losses caused by the environment.
